Clergy and Staff

Father Jason Lewis serves as the Vicar (lead priest/pastor) of St. Mary Magdalene. He has been the priest serving along side our community since 2007. He is passionate about learning  and teaching about the Christian Life as it connects with daily life. His theological interests lie in Koine Greek Studies, New Testament Studies, Homiletics, and he is currently undergoing a study of the connections and interface between Christian Spirituality and Jungian Psychology. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Amy, and three beautiful children, Julia , Maria  and William . In his leisure  time he likes to play guitar, read, and play games with his family.Contact Father Jason.

Deacon Peisha Roumas serves as a Deacon at St. Mary Magdalene. She has been a part of the community's life since its beginning 7 years ago, and has been serving as a Deacon for the past 6 years. She has a background in Psychology, Clinical Pastoral Care and Hospice Chaplaincy. She supports the many mission efforts within our community taking a key part in the St. Mary's Food Pantry, St. Mary's Kitchen Mission Teams, and the Backsnack Ministries. As a symbolic and liturgical enactment of this servant ministry, you'll often see Deacon Peisha take many of the servant roles within the worship life of our community. Contact Deacon Peisha. 

Arnetta Johnston serves as the Church Administrator at St. Mary Magdalene. She has a background in Human Resources, Computer Support and Organization Administration. She maintains the community's vital information via a central database, as well as overseeing our communication resources. Janiece Vohland serves as the Accountant at St. Mary Magdalene. Janiece is a paid CPA by day, managing a very successful practice in the KC area, and a volunteer CPA at St. Mary Magdalene by night. She is a great example of how amazing and excellent ministry is accomplished in and through our community as the result of the devotion and self-giving service of the many talented and gifted among us. Great financial communication is a key priority of St. Mary Magdalene. We desire to always let our community know where we are and where we are going.
