Music

At St. Mary Magdalene you'll experience music that will inspire and simply amaze you.

Great music is vital to our worship.

From our very beginnings, excellence in worship arts has been a key priority. Our music program is an outstanding expression of this commitment.

You simply must come to pray and sing with us to experience the beauty and awe we enjoy together as our worship and song connects us with God.

Our worship and song selection is what is known as "blended worship."  This means that we worship with music styles from a wide range of sources.

On any given Sunday we may hear 16th century motets, sing contemporary choruses, traditional hymns, folk music, spirituals, Taize songs, or any number of other styles of music.

We enjoy hymns for their strength and deep theology. And we share in contemporary music for its joyful and intimate spirit.

During our worship you'll hear and sing along with anything from chanted psalms, guitar lead choruses, violin and flute preludes, to quite meditative Taize prayer songs.

Come, join us for worship--you simply don't want to miss this!
